This practical task is an essential element of the SIT20416 Cert II Kitchen operations course and will form part of the ongoing assessment program

Students in Years 9 - 12 Elective Visual Art and Visual Design are invited to attend an artist talk with prominent Australian interdisciplinary artist Bradley Eastman. Bradley will share the story of his own creative journey and the various career paths, education, challenges and highlights he experienced along the way as a young Australian artist. Bradley’s artist talk will be interactive and relaxed with opportunities for students to ask questions related to his art and design practice.

Year 12 will be attending Art Express at the AGNSW on Thursday the 11th of March. Students make their own to the train station by 12pm, can leave the leave at the beginning of recess. Students will be dismissed from the AGNSW and will need to make their own way home. Entry is free but students will need to pay for their train fare.

Year 7 will be attending camp to develop their collaborative skills when working in groups. Students will learn about important social skills that will allow them to more effectively transition to high school. Students will challenge themselves at new tasks and develop skills in how to manage and overcome challenges.

Fieldwork activities to investigate issues relating to the Kosciuszko Alpine Area. The fieldwork covers the topics ‘Biophysical Interactions’, 'Ecosystems at Risk' and 'People and Economic Activity' (mandatory 12 hours of fieldwork). Student will practically apply skills and knowledge relevant throughout the course.
