UTS Discovery Day is open to students in Year 11. We will take the first 60 students that return their notes and payment back to the office. Students get the chance to listen to the UTS welcome presentation, covering an overview of the courses they offer, admissions pathways, schemes and scholarships. Students are involved in hands on activities. Workshops will include a variety of different study areas such as business, science, communication, and engineering & IT

The RYDA program is a one day out of school program delivering practical road safety information targeting attitude and awareness of young drivers and their passengers. RYDA is a compulsory excursion as part of our school Life Ready program. RYDA targets 16-18 year old students and includes six interactive sessions delivered to small student groups covering topics such as hazard perception, distraction management, vehicle safety, stopping distance, fatigue and experiences of a crash survivor.

Years 7-12 Australian Mathematics Competition

AMC provides students with the opportunity to apply their numeracy knowledge to mathematical problems. AMC is one of the largest annual events on the Australian education calendar. The competition aims to be accessible to all students from Years 7 to 12, not just the mathematically gifted. There is an emphasis on problem solving, a valuable life skill, and the questions are designed to be fun for the student. Cost $6.50 - school to subsidise $1.50 per entry – Parents to pay $5
