Weaving Workshop with Auntie Leanne King

As part of Turramurra High School's Reconciliation Action Plan, High Potential and Gifted Policy and commitment to embedding first nation perspectives, a 2 hour Weaving, language and cultural workshop with Dharug Elder Auntie Leanne King was been organised as a cross-faculty initiative. Selected students have been invited to participate in this culturally rich experience and will learn the traditional process of weaving using natural materials and the mindfulness activities associated. Cost of the event incudes presenter cost, materials and incursion fee.
