Year 9 Food Technology are studying a unit of work called "Food in Australia".Students will be participating in a walk with a First Nations guide through theBotanic Gardens to learn more about Indigenous bush foods and how these foodswere used traditionally and adapted to the modern plate and palate. Our studentswill be on a one-hour tour through the Cadi Jam Ora garden and learn about someof the hottest bush foods on the market right now, all while tasting someIndigenous food products. Students will be meeting at Turramurra Railway Stationat 8.15am and our tour will commence at 10am at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
