Our House patrons Shane Gould, Gail Neall, Tim Ford and Tim Jackson are past students who went on to represent Australia at Olympic level.

SCHOOL SPORT
Students in Years 8 to 10 participate in grade sport against schools in the Ku-ring-gai Zone Secondary Schools Sports Association (KZSSSA) or school/recreational sport on a Thursday afternoon.
Year 7 students get to participate in sport on a Thursday morning, where they experience various games and Grade sports in classes and Houses on a rotational basis. Year 7 also take part in the Zone Gala Sport Day against the other Ku-ring-gai zone schools.
KNOCKOUT SPORT
Turramurra High School enters the NSW CHS Knockout Competitions for various sports in both Opens and U15 divisions. These occur throughout different times of the year.
Students will be informed of what sports are being entered and they need to liaise with the organising teacher in regards to trialling and playing for these teams.
REPRESENTATIVE SPORT
Turramurra High School is part of the Ku-ring-gai Zone Secondary Schools Sports Association (KZSSSA) which hosts the Zone Swimming, Cross Country and Atheltics Carnivals, leading to further representation at Sydney North and NSW CHS.
Through the year, Sydney North Secondary Sports Association and NSW CHS both offer opportunities for students to trial for representative teams in a wide variety of sports.

Students interested in trialling MUST first speak to the school Sport Organiser as some sports hold Zone trials first, and approval MUST be obtained.
