Earlier this year, Mr Tuhukava was nominated by a senior student for The Ministers Award for Excellence in Teaching.
We are pleased to report that he was successful.
Congratulations Mr T!
His outstanding work in creating, setting up and continued commitment to his Big Hill program (started in 2014) shows how serious he is about creating a positive and exciting environment for all at THS.
Added to this is the initiatives that Mr Tuhukava has developed through this lockdown period including the Strava group and podcasts, which have been so valuable for helping students and staff to stay healthy, focused and balanced as they deal with the challenges of lockdown.
