Basketball NSW 2025 School Tournament (Opens) at Hills Bball Stadium

Location: Hills Basketball Stadium (Fred Caterson Reserve, Caterson Drive, Castle Hill NSW 2154)

Basketball NSW (BNSW) is the governing body for the sport of basketball in New South Wales and conducts a number of basketball competitions across the state between Independent, Catholic and Government Schools . The BNSW School Tournaments consist of regional tournaments for both Secondary Schools. These tournaments culminate in the top teams from each region competing at the State Championships where the best team from NSW will be crowned. This competition at Hills Stadium is a regional competition. The top team from here will move on to the finals at a later date.

THS LEOs - Bake Stall for charity at Pymble Mall

THS LEOs as a sponsored club sponsored by St Ives Lions Club and under the banner of Lions International is organising a charity event at Pymble Mall in order to raise moneys for a charity. Proceeds from the sale of baked items will be donated to a charity. All baked goods will be donated by students and parents at no cost to THS LEOs.

Ceramics Workshop Year 10

Date: 21 May

Visual Arts and Visual Design students in Year 10 will take part in an exciting fullday ceramics workshop led by practicing artist Chester Collins. Through an artist talk and hands-on activities, students will explore specialist clay building, sculpting, and decorating techniques. They will also gain insight into the creative process and the rich history of ceramics, while making their own unique decorative vase to keep. This immersive experience will not only build technical skills but also inspire creative expression and deepen students understanding of the art form. It promises to be a fun, engaging day that supports both curriculum outcomes and students personal artistic growth.
