How to enrol

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.

2. Read our enrolment information: Please see important information below regarding our enrolment process.

3. Prepare your documents : Refer to our enrolment checklist

   to ensure you have all the required documents ready before submitting your online application.

4. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application.

If you have recently arrived from overseas

Newly arrived students, whose first language is not English, should contact the Northern Sydney Intensive English Centre (IEC) prior to submitting an enrolment application at Turramurra High School.

The IEC will schedule an English assessment for your student. The outcome of the assessment will determine if you should proceed to submitting an enrolment application at Turramurra High School.

Temporary Visa Holders

Students who have studied overseas must be assessed by the Northern Sydney Intensive English Centre (IEC) before enrolling at Turramurra High School. Contact IEC on 02 9411 5288 to book an appointment. For more information, visit the Temporary Residents Program.

International Students

Full-fee paying international students must apply through DE International. Learn more about the program at DE International.

Non local enrolments

We carefully review all enrolment applications, both in-area and out-of-area. Every child has the right to enrol in a government school, and we are committed to supporting families through the process.

Please note that out-of-area enrolments are subject to the NSW Department of Education’s Enrolment policy and Turramurra High School Enrolment Policy, which consider factors such as availability of placements and enrolment priorities.
