Starting Year 7

Starting high school is an exciting milestone for students and families. Moving from Year 6 to Year 7 can feel like a big change. We help every child feel confident and supported during the transition to high school.

Our Open Days for Term 1 (March) and Term 2 (June) have now concluded.

First day for students in 2027

Wednesday 3 February 2027

The first day of school for all students is Wednesday 3 February 2027. Year 7 students will assemble in the school hall for an 8:40am start.

We work closely with local primary schools to help students feel ready. Our transition to high school programs helps Year 6 students get ready for Year 7.  Activities include:

Students, parents and carers can join these sessions to learn about daily schedules, uniforms, lunches and communication. If you need an interpreter, let us know.

Year 7 Orientation

We are excited to welcome our incoming Year 7 students to the high school orientation day!

Students should arrive in full primary school uniform. Additional information for parents will be provided in Term 4.
